Don't Let Mold Or Radon Gas Sneak Up On You

You could have radon gas or mold in your home and not even know it. Allow us to come out and test to make sure your home is safe.

Mold Inspection

Molds are usually not a problem indoors unless mold spores land on wet or damp surfaces and begin growing. These molds have the potential to cause health problems. At Safetynet we value your health. Let us test a sample of the surface in a professional laboratory and get the scientific results needed to determine if the mold is harmful. This service typically takes a 5-7 business days after the samples are taken. Express service is available for an additional cost.

Radon Testing

Radon gas has been detected in every state. Radon can seep into your home through cracks and small spaces in concrete floors, walls, drains, sump pumps and water wells. New and old homes may have a radon problem, even homes without basements. Radon Gases causes over 21,000 deaths in the US each year. The EPA recommends testing all homes and estimates that 1 in every 15 homes have unhealthy levels of radon gas. Let us combine this service with your home inspection and we will discount the two as a package.

Spring And Fall Home Diagnosis

This safety check-up is recommended bi-annually for all homeowners. We look at all mechanicals, electrical, Hvac, structural, plumbing, interior and exterior just like we would performing a pre-sales inspection. This can save you costly repair expenses by alerting you prior to disaster. We cover top to bottom and certify all major components. We recommend this inspection be done early spring before you put the Central AC unit into use and early fall before you start up the furnace.

Our Simple Process For Buyer And Seller Inspections

Most professionals typically equate a Home Inspection with a Buyer and not a seller. At Safetynet we encourage the seller to get a pre-sales inspection as well. This can increase the sales price and avoid the pitfalls and hassles of negotiating, and last minute repairs after the contract is signed. These 4 steps work for both the Buyer and the Seller.
